Extracurricular Activities

Participating in extracurricular activities with one another strengthens the bonds of the whole community and allows our students to develop their full potential.

At Trinity Academy, we offer a wide variety of extracurricular activities and make it possible for your son or daughter to participate in more than one. Sports practices are scheduled to avoid conflict with the music groups. Student clubs also meet at a variety of times to avoid conflict wherever possible.

We have several extracurricular clubs and activities open to students who are interested in participating and we are always open to starting new extracurriculars as students are interested. Here are some of our activities:

The Trini-tones - Our extracurricular choir which performs a range of music, anywhere from classic to contemporary.

Trinity Academy Chamber Orchestra - Students have a chance to learn string instruments in Junior High music class and many of them choose to expand their love of music by joining our String Ensemble.

Film Club - For any film aficionados or those with a budding interest. Led by resident film buffs and faculty members, Mr. Tomassi and Mr. Gaffney. Students and faculty gather on Fridays after school to watch and discuss films.

Craft Club - Do you have a love of crafting? So do many of our students who share their various hobbies with each other through this after school activity.

Student Council - Each class elects two representatives and the High School Seniors lead the council meetings with Dr. Clark. They plan events and express the interests of the student body.

Student Ambassadors - Trinity Academy students are our BEST representatives! Students in any grade can be trained as student ambassadors and represent the school at various events, especially in welcoming prospective students and families and telling them about our school.

Action - This is an extracurricular group for high school students interested in sharing together in Christian fellowship and works of service to the community. During the school year, this looks like getting together to do service projects, having dinners together, and praying together.

Speech Team - Junior High students learn and practice techniques in elocution, extemporaneous reading, and impromptu speaking and then have opportunities to compete in regional events.

Yearbook Club - Students with interest in photography, writing, editing, and managing can join together in working on the school’s yearbook.
